The city of Knoxville has been selected to participate in the Visioning Program under the Iowa Living Roadways program for 2010.  The Visioning Committee, comprised of about 25 people appointed by former Mayor Sprafka, will work together with the city and develop ways to improve the look of Knoxville and draw more people to the area.  City manager Dick Schrad says that the program will require a lot of time and commitment from committee members but they are enthusiastic and he can’t wait to proceed with the plans.
