Homecoming week at Pella Christian High School continues through Friday. Among the many activities scheduled for Friday is the announcement of the 2010 Homecoming Queen and King. This year’s Homecoming Court was nominated by submissions from the student body on why they thought the individuals they selected would represent the school well.
Other activities scheduled for Friday include Chapel at 1:00 p.m., which is open to the public, and several competitions hosted by the Student Council beginning at 1:30 p.m. Those will include the traditional tug-of-war and obstacle course; along with a lip-sync contest and half-court shot contest. All of the games will pit each class against the others, with the winning class announced during the basketball games in the evening.
Pella Christian’s Homecoming games will match the Eagles girls and boys teams against the Panthers of Knoxville.
