The Pella Wildlife Company will host a new series on predatory animals later this spring, thanks to a grant from the Pella Community Foundation. The recent grant award announcement will help with a new series called “Predators, Prey and People” and will focus on black bears, wolves and mountain lions or cougars, which are returning to Iowa.

The program seeks to educate people on how the animals will impact the ecosystem and the lives of those who live in the area. Hopes are to have the a traveling program and new displays ready for “Bald Eagle Days” on March 6th at Central College. The materials would then be made available for other organizations interested in wildlife conservation.
