Knoxville High School Hall of Fame To Induct Kristi Conway

The Knoxville Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies will take place Friday night between the girls and boys basketball games. Another inductee is Kristi Conway who played volleyball on the powerhouse Knoxville teams of the early and mid 80s. Athletic Committee Chairman Doug Wilson says Conway was one of the best to ever play volleyball for the Panthers. Wilson adds Conway then took her talents to the Kansas University where she lettered in volleyball all four years. Today is the last day to purchase tickets to the Hall of Fame Luncheon that will take place at the Red Rock Cultural Center in Knoxville. Tickets are 15-dollars and can be purchased at Iowa State Savings Bank…no tickets will be sold at the door. The Induction Ceremonies will be tomorrow night immedtialy following the girl’s basketball game with Grinnell and can be heard on AM 1320 KNIA and streamed live on KNIA KRLS dot com.
