Monday is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and Central College is hosting a pair of events in recognition of the late Dr. King. At 11:00 a.m., Jennifer Harvey, associate professor of religion and ethics at Drake University will deliver a presentation titled “King’s Vision, Your Voice: Creating Unlikely Alliances in a Broken World”. The program will be held in Douwstra Auditorium. Central will also host an evening concert with Chris Weaver of Freeport, New York, at 8:00 p.m. in Grand Central Station in the Maytag Student Center. Both events are free and open to the public.
