Pella Christian’s basketball teams host Knoxville for Friday’s Homecoming games, and with Tuesday off from action, the Eagles have had all week to get ready for the Panthers. Pella Christian Girls Head Coach Kevin Van Maanen says the time in practice has gone toward working on defensive movement and positioning, as well as improving the flow of the offense.

Eagles’ boys Head Coach Larry Hessing says his team has continued to focus on the fundamentals, but says they’re also working in a few new schemes on defense. Pella Christian’s Homecoming game with Knoxville tips off at 6:15 p.m. Friday night, starting with the girls’ contest, and will be broadcast live on 92.1 fm, KRLS.
