The Pella Christian girls returned to Little Hawkeye Conference play in strong fashion Tuesday night, as the Eagles bested Grinnell 52-41. Pella Christian’s offensive output was distributed among several players, including sophomore Christina Nolte, who scored a season-best 10 points in the victory. Eagles’ Head Coach Kevin Van Maanen says Nolte has done well to recover from off-season knee surgery and says her shooting and ball handling abilities are steadily improving. Pella Christian is 5-5 overall and 4-2 in the LHC going into Friday’s game against Norwalk.
