Pella Regional Health Center delivered their first baby of the new year earlier this week. Baby Sahana Raghavan was born at 2:28 p.m. on January 3rd, weighing 6 pounds, 3 ounces and measuring 19.25 inches long. Sahana is the daughter of Vijay and Harini Raghavan of Pella and has a two-year-old sister Kanaka. Sahana was delivered by Dr. Spencer Carlstone, who also delivered Kanaka, and said the two sisters looked so much alike that it was like delivering twins two years apart. As of Thursday afternoon, the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics had not delivered a baby in 2010.
