Pella hosts Norwalk tonight, which will complete their first run through the Little Hawkeye Conference. In the first game of the doubleheader, the Dutch girls will face a Warriors squad that, while young, still comes in with a 6-3 record and at 2-2 in the Little Hawkeye Conference.

Pella Head Coach Jerod Garland says he expects Norwalk to provide plenty of challenges. The Dutch are 6-2 overall and 5-1 in the conference.

In the boys’ game, it’s a match-up of the top teams in the LHC, with Norwalk undefeated on the season and at 5-0 in league play, while Pella comes in at 7-1 overall and 6-0 in the Little Hawkeye Conference.

Dutch Head Coach Mark Core says his team’s defense will have their hands full with the Warriors, and will need to again see an even distribution of the offensive workload to be successful.

Both games will be broadcast live on 92.1 fm, KRLS, with coverage of the girls’ contest starting at 6:00 p.m. with Jamie Brockman and Randy Sikkema providing the call.
