A hearing date has been set in the trial of a Pella man accused of two counts of attempting to entice away a minor. 39-year-old Quintin H. VanRheenen previously entered a plea of “not guilty” to the charges, and is scheduled to appear at the Marion County Courthouse on February 2nd. VanRheenen was arrested in September of 2009 following an alleged incident, with a second charge filed based on a previous investigation. Enticing away a minor is an aggravated misdemeanor; which is punishable by imprisonment not to exceed two years and a fine not to exceed $6,250.
