Central College has been selected to receive a $250,000 grant from the State Energy Program. Central was chosen to receive the grant to assist the college with its technology demonstration project in the Education and Psychology Building. The money will fund a 25 kilowatt photovoltaic array capable of producing over 32,000 kilowatt hours of electricity every year, which will serve as a renewable energy source to help power the building.
