Statewide caucuses will be held later this month. In Marion County, the Democratic caucus for all 17 precincts will be held in the Knoxville Community Senior Center at 308 East Montgomery Street. Marion County Republicans will split their locations; with the caucus for Pella precincts 1, 2, 3, and 4, and the Lake Prairie and Otley precincts held at Madison Elementary School at 950 East University in Pella, and all remaining precincts caucusing at the Celebrate Community Church at 1005 North Lincoln Street in Knoxville.

At the caucuses, both parties will elect precinct committee persons to the County Central Committee, form a Platform Committee and elect delegates and alternates to the Marion County convention, which will be held later this spring. Both the Marion County Republican and Democratic Caucuses will be held on Saturday, January 23rd, starting at 1:00 p.m.
