Knoxville High School and the local American Cancer Society chapter held a successful Coaches vs. Cancer fundraiser Tuesday night. According to Jim and Angie Uitermarkt, early estimates are that the event raised over $10,000 for the American Cancer Society, not including the concession sales, which will be donated by the booster club. One of the big donations of the night came from Hormel who gave $500. The Panther girls were also successful on the court, beating Newton 51 to 26. The boys’ fell to Newton 45 to 38.
