Brad Zaun, a candidate for the Republican nomination to face Democratic incumbent Leonard Boswell for the third District Congressional seat, addressed potential supporters at events in Oskaloosa, Pella, and Knoxville Saturday. Zaun, current State Senator and former mayor of Urbandale, stressed fiscal and personal responsibility and the need for common sense to be brought to Washington, which he considers “broken.” He also stressed his proven ability to work across party lines as a reason he should be the Republican nominee to challenge Boswell. Zaun will be back in Knoxville at the Swamp Fox Restaurant on Saturday February 27th.
