Former governor and 2010 hopeful Terry Branstand will make a stop in Knoxville this week. The Governor Branstand 2010 campaign announced today that Knoxville is one of four new stops planned for the “Iowa Comeback Tour” this week. Tim Albrecht, campaign Director of Communications says the Marion County Town Hall event will be a good chance for voters to come out and discuss things with Governor Branstad. He said the campaign is focusing on job creation and how to obtain the 200,000 new jobs goal. Branstad will be at The Coffee Connection, located at 213 East Main Street in Knoxville, this Thursday at 2:30pm. The event is free and open to the public.
