For the Pella Christian boys basketball team, tonight’s home game is about as big as they get. The Eagles’ get a second shot at Norwalk, a team that comes in as the top-ranked squad in Class 3-A. Pella Christian Head Coach Larry Hessing says tonight’s game should be one of the most exciting of the season.

“I told the guys when you have the number one team coming into your gym, if you can’t get excited for that, then you shouldn’t be putting on the uniform,” said Hessing. “It should be a fun game, fun atmosphere, and I hope a lot of people can come out and hopefully we can play a good game against a really good team.”

The undefeated Warriors narrowly edged Pella Christian 60-54 on January 8th in Norwalk. The Eagles are 14-4 overall and 10-3 in the conference heading into their final regular season game. The game will be broadcast live on 92.1 fm KRLS with Eric Gotschall providing the call, immediately following coverage of the Pella Christian girls basketball game.
