The Knoxville Program Study Committee held a work session and discussion Thursday evening.  At the meeting the committee further discussed options on how to save the district money by possibly discontinuing the use of one of the school buildings.  The board focused on three main alternatives, which were decided by members at an earlier meeting.  Those include discontinued use of the GOAL building and moving those students and faculty into another facility and discontinued use of East Elementary and separating students into either five or six sections with K-2 at one elementary and 3-5 at another.  Committee members will now present these options to the School Board on February 22nd, followed by several public meetings to get feedback from the community.
