The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum recently received a large donation. 23-year-old rising NASCAR star, Michael Annett from Des Moines donated $10,000 to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum in an effort to “give back” to his racing roots in honor late Hall of Fame sprint car driver Earl Wagner. The museum will use the donation to create a memorial honoring Wagner and all of the past Knoxville Raceway point champions since weekly racing started on the Marion County Fairgrounds in 1954.
