Titus Hopkins, a kindergartner at Madison Elementary School in Pella, has devised a fun way to raise money for Haitian children affected by January’s deadly earthquakes.

Hopkins, with help from his mother, designed a fundraiser that will have participants build Lego® creations which will be judged for prizes. The cost to enter the contest is $5 for kindergarten through 5th graders, and $10 for sixth through twelfth grade students. Registrations and entry fees need to be submitted by Saturday, February 20th. All proceeds will benefit “Many Hands for Haiti.”

More information is available at Marion County Bank, or the Third Reformed Church in Pella.
