A Call to Serve – or “ACTS” – Ministries has recently announced the location for their spring “Service Surge” event. The Pella-based volunteer organization will be sending participants to Ottumwa on May 15th to perform a variety of repair, renovation and construction tasks. The organization has focused its efforts in Ottumwa before and is hoping to bring 200 to 300 volunteers from all across the region to take part in the “Service Surge.”
