Marion County residents are invited to be part of creating a new attraction at Lake Red Rock. The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and the Lake Red Rock Association is hosting a public scoping meeting for the Hickory Ridge Project. The meeting will consist of a short presentation on the plans to restore Hickory Ridge followed by breaking into small groups to discuss ideas for the future of the wilderness camp. The meeting will be held on March 10th at the Lake Red Rock Project office located at 1105 Highway T-15 in Knoxville from 5:30-7:30pm.
