Red Rock Hosting Snowshoe Hike

Posted: Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 at 6:25 am

The Park Rangers at Lake Red Rock will be hosting another snowshoe hike this weekend. Participants will search for animal tracks and other clues of the activity happening in the wilderness – even during winter. Snowshoes will be available to borrow for the program, but those who have their own are encouraged to bring them along.

The “Winter’s Wonders Snowshoe Hike” will be held Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the North Overlook Picnic area. For more information, contact Park Ranger Tracy Spry at 828-7522 or 628-8690.
