Blowing snow and icing roadways contributed to a number of accidents and rollovers in Marion County this past week. A two vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 14 and G76 at approximately 4pm Tuesday afternoon, where 36 year-old Nicole Dixson was transported to the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics where she was treated and released. There were also reports of accidents on HWY T23 South of Bussy, HWY 5, HWY 92, and T15 all of which resulted in no injuries. There was also rollover on HWY G40 which resulted in an OWI arrest.
