Temporary Lock Down at PCM Schools Lifted, Story Continues to Develop

PCM schools were under a temporary lock down for a short time Tuesday afternoon. The schools were under a precautionary lock down due to a family issue in the district. According to PCM officials, there was never a direct threat on the school or it’s students. The lock down was lifted shortly after and schools dismissed at their normal time. The Jasper County and Marion County Sheriff’s offices tell KNIA KRLS that there were additional aspects of this story, which are still developing, we will bring you more information as soon as it becomes official.
