Melcher-Dallas’ JoAnna Wells will play softball on the next level at Marshalltown Community College. Wells has had a fine career for the Saints earning all-state honors last season batting 431 with 33 R-B-I, and 16 doubles, plus being the starting pitcher for the last four seasons. Marshalltown Head Softball Coach Jeff Lamb says Wells will likely play outfield, and if there is a chance she could pitch.
