The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in special session Tuesday morning. At the meeting the board approved a resolution to enter an agreement with the Union Pacific Railroad to remove and replace bridges over the railroads on Virginia and Vermont Streets. Assistant County Engineer Jay Davis says this is about a 9 month process that will hopefully begin in August and be completed before the harvest season.
