Tuesday is the final extended day in the Knoxville school district. Since March 1st each school day has been an extra 30 minutes in length to make up for days lost due to inclement weather. Tuesday is the 22nd extended day, meaning the district has made up 2 snow days. Beginning Wednesday, classes will be over at the regular 3pm dismissal time. There will be no school Thursday April 1st through Monday April 5th as students and staff will be off for spring break. The final day of the current school year is June 2nd and classes will dismiss at 11am.
