A candidate for the Iowa Secretary of Agriculture position will be in Marion County this weekend. Francis Thicke will be in Knoxville on Saturday to discuss his campaign with interested citizens. Thicke is farmer, scientist and educator from Fairfield who hopes to receive the Democratic nomination for the Secretary of Agriculture position, currently held by Republican Bill Northey. Thicke will be at the Swamp Fox Pub and Grille, located at 116 N. 2nd in Knoxville from 11-12:30 Saturday.
