Coming off an eighth place finish in the Little Hawkeye Conference last season, the Knoxville boys tennis squad has aspirations to a higher finish this season. Coach Joel Tonda says that could happen this season with his team being more experienced and the rest of the conference losing several of the top players in the state last year. While that has happened Tonda says the L-H-C is not down. Knoxville finished eighth in the conference last season which was the lowest finish in over a decade. Tonda thinks Knoxville can be competitive with the top teams in the conference and likes his chances with the experience he has back from last season.
