A little bit more experienced Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad will play on the pitch this season. However the Panthers will still be very young at key spots as the new Coach Charley Fisher tries to get the best first unit line up. Fisher says the team lost just one senior last year and has everybody back plus 12 freshmen which totals 42 girls this season. Fisher says that is a very large number and for the most part the younger girls will be able to play an entire J-V game this season. Last year with numbers so low…the Panthers had to play a half of a J-V game or none at all. Fisher says his expectations are to win some matches in the postseason and not go into every match thinking it is impossible to win. The Panthers get their season started April sixth against Carlisle.
