Knoxville Girls Tennis Coach Nick DeMoss says if things fall right and his team plays well, the Panthers can make another run for a top half finish in the Little Hawkeye Conference. Last season the Panthers finished 6-5 overall and 4-4 in the conference and placed fourth at the conference meet. Knoxville returns nearly everyone from last season including number two and three singles and number one doubles. The Panthers have a very tough opener this season on April sixth, a trip to conference favorite Pella.
