Knoxville students, staff and administration will experience longer days for the month of March. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says the school board approved extending the days so that they did not have to go into the second week of June. Beginning today, each school day in the month of March will be an extra 30 minutes long. The purpose is to make up days lost due to inclement weather. After 22 extended days, the district will have made up 2 snow days.
