The Knoxville School board discussed the possible sale or lease of buildings in the district at their meeting Monday. Upon the closure of East Elementary the board expressed to Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack that they support putting the Trabert Center, which houses the GOAL school and the district’s administration building on the market to see if there is any interest on buying or leasing the property. The district is also looking into the demolition of the old junior high building in order to make that property more attractive to potential buyers as well.
