Three public hearings on potential amendments to the city’s zoning code are among the items on the agenda for Tuesday’s Pella City Council meeting. The hearings will be followed by the council’s consideration of the first readings of the ordinances, which pertain to variations of sign regulations.

In other business, the council will consider several resolutions, including collective bargaining agreements for the Pella Public Works Department and the Pella Electric Power Utility, as well as the second analysis phase of improvements to the city’s wastewater treatment system. The first reading of an ordinance amending rates and fees for the Aquatic Center and Community Services will also be considered.

The Pella City Council meets Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the Public Safety Complex off of Liberty Street.
