The Pella Public Library will host a presentation on a phone system for hard-of-hearing Tuesday. The new service, called CapTel® is similar to closed captioning for television programs. The CapTel® phone looks similar to a regular phone, but has a bright, built-in display screen which displays word-for-word captions of what the other party says during a conversation. A workshop for the public on the CapTel® will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the meeting room of the Pella Public Library.
