Public voting begins Monday on a Lego® creation contest in Pella that has been designed to raise money for children in Haiti. Titus Hopkins, a kindergartner at Madison Elementary School, came up with the idea with help from his mother to have participants pay an entry fee to build creations out of Legos® that will be judged for prizes. Proceeds from the entry fees will benefit Many Hands for Haiti.

The public is invited to vote on the contest entries, which are on display at Marion County Bank in Pella. The voting will be open from Monday through Friday with winners to be announced on Wednesday, March 10th.
