While many of our area track and field teams have likely now been on their home tracks for at least a few practices, there are three area boys and girls team that may not be able to get on their home quarter-miles until it gets much warmer and the ground dries up. That’s because Pleasantville, Twin Cedars, and Melcher-Dallas do not have all-weather tracks. Pleasantville boys coach Tim Koreselman says the track is just too soft to even walk on. He says much of the practice time has been spent in the weight room lifting and, the few times they have been able to venture outside, they have had to run on the streets in Pleasantville.
