The top performers in contest speech will be recognized at Monday’s All-State Speech Festival, including two students from each of Pella’s high schools. Pella Christian’s Nicole Vande Zande and Chess VanWyk earned All-State honors in Solo Musical Theatre and Prose, respectively; while Andrew Sagers and Megan Card of Pella Community High School will also be recognized for outstanding performances in Spontaneous Speaking and Literary Program. The All-State Speech Festival is being held on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa.
