The Knoxville Rural Fire Department and the Indiana Township Fire Department were called to a grass fire at 1744 Oregon shortly before noon today. As they were finishing extinguishing the blaze, they were called to 1720 135th Place for another grass fire. The Columbia Fire Department’s quick attack vehicle joined them in extinguishing the blaze and the fires were put out within an hour and a half.
