Central College sophomore Ethan Miller has been named Iowa Conference male athlete of the week. Miller was named Most Valuable Performer at the Iowa Conference men’s indoor track and field meet last weekend in Storm Lake, after placing in five events – including three gold medals. Miller’s recognition marks the fourth straight week that a member of the Dutch men’s track and field team has earned performer of the week honors this season.

Also recognized this week with a league honor is Central senior Mark Holan. The 6’4″ forward was named the Iowa Conference men’s basketball player of the week following two outstanding performances in the conference tournament. In wins over Dubuque and Buena Vista, Holan averaged 24 points and 2.5 steals per game as the Dutch won their first Iowa Conference Tournament title and earned a berth into the NCAA Division III National Tournament.
