According to Lorri Jahner, who is in charge of accounting and voter registration for Marion County, absentee Ballots for the upcoming June 8th Marion County primary election are available as of today. Those who wish to fill out an absentee ballot may do so in person at the Marion County Auditor’s office, located in the courthouse. Registered voters may also request a ballot by mail by calling 828-2217. Absentee ballots need to be either hand delivered to the auditor’s office by the time the polls close on election day or post mark them by June 7th.
