Habitat for Humanity of Marion County was recently awarded $200,000 in State I-JOBS funding, and the organization’s executive director says they are currently in the process of looking for partner families in the county to build homes for. Lisa Houser says that Habitat for Humanity plans to build four houses in the county with the funds received, and has plans for one in Pella and one in Knoxville, but is hoping to begin additional homes this fall and are looking for qualified applicants. Houser says to apply or find out if you qualify to call 641-828-8844.
