The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular Monday morning. At the meeting the board approved the Secondary Road Construction Program for fiscal year 2011 through 2015, along with the appointment of new Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy DJ Reed and an annual transfer of $300,000 from the local option sales tax fund to the debt services fund for property tax relief. The board also received and filed the treasurer’s semi annual report and fiscal year 2009 financial report along with a three year employee agreement with the Marion County Engineer’s office.
