In a tournament that featured the No. 2 and No. 3 women’s golf programs in the nation, the Central College women’s golf team closed out their spring schedule with an 8th place finish in the 13-team Carleton Invitational Sunday in Minnesota. The Dutch finished the two-day tournament with a total score of 698, with No. 2-ranked Gustavus Adophus taking the team title with a 639. Central senior Eva Downes concluded her collegiate career with a two-day score of 166 – good enough to tie for 13th.
