The Knoxville community gathered together yesterday afternoon for the initial planting process of the new pocket park. Members of the Knoxville High School FFA, and Science Club, along with several community members of all ages helped plant 7 trees and 18 shrubs yesterday, just in time for them to be able to enjoy the spring rains forecasted for this weekend. Park designer Harv Sprafka says flowers and sod will be planted in early May and the park should be completely planted by Memorial Day.
