A candidate seeking the Republican nomination to challenge Leonard Boswell for Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District will be in Pella next Saturday. Pat Bertroche, psychiatrist from Des Moines, will speak to interested members of the community at the Pizza Ranch in Pella at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 17th.  Bertroche is one of a host of Republican hopefuls vying for the opportunity to unseat Boswell, who is a Democrat.
