Pella Corporation will be hosting dozens of area fifth through eighth grade students Tuesday evening for an event to promote the engineering field. “Explore Engineering” is organized by the Partnership for Engineering Educational Resources for Schools (PEERS) and is supported by Pella Corporation and 3M, along with all three of Iowa’s state universities.

Students and their parents will have the opportunity to work with robots, tour interactive stations, and learn about opportunities in engineering careers. This is the third year that Pella Corporation has partnered with the state’s public universities, and is the first year for 3M to join.
