There’s not much time left to sign-up for the Third Annual Gene Van Wyk Memorial 5k Run and Walk. The family-oriented event benefits a memorial fund named after former Pella Christian High School guidance counselor Gene Van Wyk and is sponsored by Home Realty of Pella.

The run starts and finishes at the Pella Christian High School and includes awards for the top three finishers in seven age categories, along with door prizes and a breakfast for all participants. The Gene Van Wyk Memorial 5k Run and Walk starts at 8:45 a.m. Saturday morning. More information is available at www.GeneVanWyk.com.
