Marion County residents are encouraged to dine out at local restaurants this week to help out a good cause. “Hungry for Habitat” is a partnership event that aims to create awareness about Habitat for Humanity and let people know how they can get involved with the organization. Several area businesses in Knoxville, Pella, Melcher-Dallas, Pleasantville and Attica have agreed to have information about Habitat for Humanity available in their businesses and will be offering donations to the cause. “Hungry for Habitat” continues until May 1st.
