Pella Christian High School holds their annual Junior Senior Banquet (JSB) Friday night in Pella. Family and friends of the juniors and seniors are invited to view the decorations at the Vermeer Pavilion from noon to 4:30 p.m. Friday, with the doors closed to the public after that. Dan Vermeer, Head Junior Class Sponsor for this year’s event says the evening is enjoyed by all of the parents, educators and students involved.

“It’s nice to have a school celebration where we get together, eat together and fellowship together,” says Vermeer. “One of the nice aspects of the Junior Senior Banquet is the concept that this is something that the juniors are doing for the seniors, and kind of an appreciation for the senior class.”

The banquet – themed “Under a Venetian Sky” – will take place from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., followed by student-performed entertainment and an after-party and dance organized by parents.
